Two men, one from Bedworth and one from Holland are to appear at Birmingham Crown Court on Thursday 13 May for the start of the trial into conspiracy to supply drugs.
They were charged after 75 kg of heroin was seized in a dramatic swoop by specialist officers from West Midlands Police in November 2009.
The drugs, with a street value of more than £3.5 million, were stored in boxes and retrieved from a vehicle which had been stopped in Lye, Stourbridge. The drugs were in half kg packets and stored in three boxes, fifty in each box.

DETECTIVES have issued a description of a man they are keen to trace after a teenage girl was abducted in Dudley.
The incident happened as the 14-year-old was walking to school yesterday morning (4 May).
She was walking along Dibdale Road, from Milking Bank area, at around 8.30am when a man approached her and pulled her onto wasteland to the rear of the Struggling Man pub. |
