The Great British Tea Party with Wallace & Gromit

"More tea, Gromit?"

Walsall Wood Library staff will be playing their part to support sick children in the borough by hosting a tea party this Friday (November 13).

The event celebrates the national Wallace and Gromit Great British Tea Party which raises money for its Children's Foundation. This month, the animated pair celebrate their 20th anniversary and Walsall Wood library has been invited to hold a tea party to raise vital funds for children in Walsall.

As tea is our nation's favourite drink, anyone is invited to drop by between 10am and 4pm for a free cuppa and a piece of cake!

Sam Wedgbury at Walsall Wood library said: "We wanted to do something that would help us raise funds for the Wallace and Gromit's Children's Foundation which needs our support for local hospitals and hospices in the Walsall area.

"Just simply pop by for a cup of team and a slice of cake. Whilst you're sipping your tea, why not have a browse through our book collection? There'll be donation boxes in the library on the day for people to support Walsall and Gromit's Children's Foundation appeal."

And there won't be a slice of cheese in sight!
