Discover the variety of courses on offer in Walsall

Residents in the Walsall borough are being invited to go along to an open evening to discover a variety of courses which are on offer from September.

 

Park Hall Community Association and Walsall South Area Partnership have joined forces to arrange the open evening which is being held on Thursday September 8th from 6.30pm until 9pm.

 

There will be interactive demonstrations and some of the existing learners will be showcasing their work. Tutors and staff will also be available on the night to offer advice on a variety of courses such as Chicken Keeping, Garden Design, Food Hygiene, Tai Chi for Arthritis, Card Making, Bee Keeping, Paediatric & Emergency First Aid, FA Level 1 Football Coaching Qualification (age 16+).

 

Enrolment can be made at the open evening or during the week commencing 5 September.  Classes will then start week commencing 12 September onwards unless otherwise stated in the Prospectus.

The courses are held at Park Hall Community Association, Park Hall Junior School, in Walsall.

 

Councillor Zahid Ali, cabinet member for communities and partnerships at Walsall Council, said: “There are a great variety of courses on offer through Park Hall Community Association and this is a great opportunity to find out what is available.”

 

Sally Swift, centre manager at Park Hall Community Association, said: “Whether you’re interested in bee keeping, football coaching or tai chi, we have a course for everyone so why don’t you just come along and see what’s on offer.”
