Citizenship and Driving Test Courses at Walsall libraries

Are you looking for work? Want to find out about training opportunities or need help in passing your driving theory test?

 
Information on these and other subjects will be available at a special drop-in event at Walsall Central Library on Wednesday 19 May 2010 between 8.30am and 4pm.
 
Walsall Library Service is also offering free training sessions for residents applying for UK citizenship and those preparing for the national citizenship test. The Life in Britain course has been reproduced from the Home Office handbook 'Life in the United Kingdom: A Journey into Citizenship.'
 
Advice on setting up your own business, council services, health and local events will also be available at the drop-in event.
 
Jaspal S Grewel, library development manager for Walsall Library Service said: "People living in the Walsall area who want to learn more about Life in the UK tests and any other subject mentioned above will benefit from this event and learning with Walsall."
 
To find out more plase call Walsall Central Library on 01922 653110. You don't need to book for the event, simply turn up between 8.30am and 4pm.
 
The course is free to use and can be accessed in the library. You just need to be a member of Walsall Library Service which takes minutes to join and is free of charge.
