The Speaker of the House of Commons John Bercow MP will visit Stourbridge next Friday to deliver the Frank Foley lecture.
Dudley North MP Ian Austin has organised the event to remember the man described as the ‘British Schindler’.
Frank Foley was an MI6 agent during WWII who used his position as a passport control officer to help hundreds of Jews escape Nazi Germany. He provided papers to allow them to escape, forged passports, sheltered people in his own home and even visited concentration camps to free inmates himself.
