Two girls due in youth court over Stourbridge car damage

TWO girls are due in Youth Court next week following a spate of alleged criminal damage offences to vehicles across Wollaston and Stourbridge Town.

In early July the Wollaston and Stourbridge Town neighbourhood team received numerous calls from residents of High Park Avenue, Duncombe Street and Wood Street to report that cars had been vandalised. It is alleged that damage was caused to paintwork, windows and car bonnets.

Two girls, aged 12 and 13, were questioned by police in connection with the incidents and have been summonsed to appear before Dudley Youth Court on 9 November.

The pair cannot be named for legal reasons.
