DETECTIVES are appealing for help to trace three offenders who attacked two men as they left a bowling club in Wolverhampton earlier this month.
The victims, aged 61 and 58, had left Oaklands Bowling Club in Pennfields at around 11:30pm on Monday 3 October.
They closed the bowling club and began to walk up the long driveway which leads to the building when they were approached by three men in dark clothing.
Both men were then subjected to a violent attack, during which they were kicked and punched several times, causing them to lose consciousness.
The offenders searched both victims as they lay blacked out on the ground and took each of their sets of car keys.
The men then got away in one of the victims' vehicles a silver Mini Cooper S.
Detective Constable Melodie Rideout, from Force CID, said: "One of the victims suffered a broken nose in the attack and although both have made a good recovery, they have been left extremely shaken by this incident.
"This was vicious attack on two innocent people who were simply going about their usual business and we need to catch those responsible."
One of the offenders was wearing a glove on one of his hands. Another offender wore jeans and trainers as well as a jumper with a hood and a cap underneath. The third offender also had a glove on one hand and wore dark flat style trainers.
Anyone with any information about what happened, or who may have seen the offenders fleeing the scene in the Mini, is asked to call Force CID in Bloxwich on 0345 113 5000 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
