Museum talk explores the fascinating tale of the Leamore Lion Tamer

A fascinating talk at Walsall Museum this month will uncover the extraordinary story of one Captain Clarke, who travelled the world taming lions, tigers, bears and wolves for circuses before settling down to a quieter life in Leamore.

Stuart Williams of Walsall Local History Centre will be popping in to the Museum to deliver the talk on 14 June, drawing on his extensive knowledge of the history of Leamore and Bloxwich.
