Buckle up and stroll on down to Walsall Leather Museum workshop

Walsall Leather Museum is giving footwear lovers the chance to design and make their own leather sandals.

If you love shoes or like to be creative then this is for you!

A special workshop has been arranged for Saturday 22 May 2010.

It's being led by Samantha Gillan, who attended the London College of Fashion. Samantha studied shoe design and Leather Museum bosses are delighted to welcome her to Walsall and offer this rare opportunity to learn shoe making techniques.

Francesca Cox, assistant curator at Walsall Leather Museum said: "This is the first workshop in a series we have planned for adults.

"If you're unable to book your seat at this one, they'll be others you can attend."

The one-day workshop costs £15, which includes all materials. Spaces are limited and booking is essential.
